Aneto 3404 pt.1

While weather in Barcelona was still pleasantly warm and summery, we decided to pack our bikes and to make our way up to the roof of Pyrenees- Aneto-the highest peak of Pyrenees, which reaches heigh of 3404m above sea level. Up on this level of altitude summer was far gone, and we could feel certain presence of autumn (and sometimes even winter!) in the air.
Follow the fotos down, to know more about our adventures conquering  Aneto!

1.day- home - Bioska

Tm 5;37 / Av 21,2 / Dist 119,5

We started the day early, but until we got ourselves out of the house it was already 10 AM. Road was already well known (or at least par of it) -it leaded us to Manresa, passing by famous Montserrat, and taking us to unfinished highway, which had smell of fresh asphalt and was full of cars, or more precisely-full of trucks whose most popular cargo were different kind of animals - pigs, sheep, horses… whatever you want…
When we reached small town called Calaf, we were finally changing highway for smaller road with rural views all around.

Sun was already setting down, so we had to start looking for some nice place to spend a night.
Old abandoned factory in the middle of nowhere.

It seems to be nice place for the night- just in between almond trees. … Nice snacks after dinner
